Our take on the ELLO&ALLO 8 Gallon Motion Sensor Trash Can with Roll Up Lid

The ELLO&ALLO is a touchless kitchen trash can with a stainless steel body, a black finish and a roll-up lid that opens on a motion sensor. It is listed as an 8 gallon can, though the spec sheet gives the capacity as 13 gallons, so confirm the size before you buy. At $60.58 at Wayfair as of November 6, 2026, it is the only new price we have, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Questions and answers

Is it 8 gallons or 13 gallons?
The name says 8 gallons, but the spec sheet lists 13 gallons. Check the listing's stated capacity before ordering, since the two figures do not match.
Does it need batteries?
Motion sensor lids are battery powered, so expect to supply batteries and replace them periodically. The listing does not state the battery type.
Is $60.58 a good price?
It is the only new price we have, at Wayfair as of November 6, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare it with. Treat it as the current market price rather than a confirmed deal.
Will a standard kitchen bag fit?
An 8 gallon can takes small kitchen bags, while a 13 gallon can takes standard tall kitchen bags. Confirm the real capacity first, then match the bag size.
How does the roll-up lid work?
A motion sensor triggers the lid to roll up and open without contact. It typically closes automatically after a set delay.
Where is the ELLO&ALLO 8 Gallon Motion Sensor Trash Can with Roll Up Lid cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $60.58, as of our latest check.
