Questions and answers

Is the Ello Glass Refresh set worth it?
If you reheat food often and want to avoid plastic, the glass bodies and locking lids cover cooking, storing and reheating in one container. It costs more and weighs more than plastic sets, so it suits people who value durability over light weight.
Can the lids go in the microwave?
No. The containers are microwave safe only without the lid. Remove the snap-on lid before reheating.
Can the glass go in the oven?
Yes, the glass bodies are listed as oven compatible. Leave the lids off in the oven, as they are not oven safe.
How do I clean the set?
The glass is dishwasher safe on the top rack, and hand washing the lids helps keep the seals and locking tabs in good shape.
Do the lids really seal?
They are rated leak resistant and airtight with a locking snap-on closure. That handles most lunch-bag use, but it is not a guarantee against tipping a full container on its side.
When is the price lowest?
Glass storage sets often drop during back-to-school and January organization sales. Check the price history on this page to see whether the current price is near its recent low.
