Our take on the Energizer 8 Pack Solar Pathway LED Lights Outdoor Stainless Steel

The Energizer 8 Pack Solar Pathway LED Lights are stake-in outdoor path lights with stainless steel housings, warm-white LEDs and built-in dusk-to-dawn sensors. Each light runs on a solar panel and rechargeable cell, so there is no wiring, and the IP65 rating plus UV-protected, rust-resistant finish is meant for year-round weather. Output is modest at 15 lumens per light, which suits marking a walkway rather than lighting it. The best new price is $79.00 at Mercari as of November 3, 2026, with 6 stores listing it new.

Questions and answers

Is 15 lumens bright enough for a path?
It is enough to outline a walkway and see where you are stepping, but not to light a patio or read by. Expect a soft pool of warm light around each stake.
How long do they stay on at night?
Runtime depends on how much sun the panels get. With a full day of direct sun, most solar path lights in this class run several hours after dusk; shaded spots will be shorter.
Do I need to wire them or change batteries?
No wiring is needed. Each light has its own solar panel and rechargeable cell, so you just stake them in. The cells are the part that wears out over time.
Are they waterproof?
Yes, they carry an IP65 rating, which means they handle rain and splashing. They are not meant to be submerged.
What comes in the box?
The pack includes eight lights and eight ground stakes. No tools or wiring are required for installation.
When is the price lowest?
Solar path lights usually drop in late spring and around holiday sales. At $79.00 for eight at Mercari as of November 3, 2026, compare against the other new listings before buying.
