Is wireless CarPlay reliable on this unit?

It supports both wired and wireless CarPlay, and wireless is the main draw at this price. Expect a short pairing delay on first connect; wired is the fallback if wireless drops.

Is 3GB RAM enough for Android apps?

It is fine for CarPlay, Android Auto, radio and maps streamed from your phone. Running several heavy Android apps at once on the unit itself will feel slow.

The 8-inch screen is a universal double-DIN-style unit, but you need the right dash kit, harness and steering-wheel adapter for your model. Check your car's fitment before buying.

Does it support Siri and steering wheel controls?

Siri works through CarPlay, and the listing names Siri as the assistant. Steering-wheel control needs a compatible adapter, which is not included by default.

How does it compare with a name-brand unit?

It costs far less than Pioneer or Kenwood wireless CarPlay units. In return you get a slower chip, less RAM and no brand support network.
