Is the EROMMY 20x20 carport worth it?

For the money it covers a lot of ground, and the galvanized frame is sturdier than the thin tubing on cheap canopies. It makes sense if you need covered parking or boat storage without a permanent building. Do not expect it to last as long as a metal-roofed carport.

How does it hold up in wind and snow?

It is rated for 60+ mph winds and about 30-35 PSF of snow. Those figures assume the frame is properly anchored and the cover is tight. Clear snow off the roof promptly and check the anchors before storm season.

How long does assembly take?

EROMMY says about 45 minutes with four people. Budget more time for the first setup, especially anchoring it to concrete or asphalt. Two people will struggle to lift the frame into place.

What can I park under it?

The footprint is 20x20 ft, so one car, a boat or a small RV fits with room to walk around. The peak height is about 12 ft, which clears most trailers and boats on trailers.

Does the cover come with the frame?

Yes. The kit includes the galvanized steel frame, the 220gsm three-layer PE cover, two zippered roll-up doors and the mesh side windows. Anchors for soil, asphalt or concrete are not included, so buy those separately.

When is the price lowest?

Carports like this tend to drop in late fall and winter, when outdoor storage demand is low, and around spring moving season. Watch the price history before buying.

Our take on the EROMMY 20x20 Reinforced Steel Carport

The EROMMY 20x20 is a reinforced galvanized steel carport with a 220gsm three-layer PE cover, sized to shelter one car, boat or RV. It uses 1.1mm powder-coated steel pipes and is rated for 60+ mph winds and a 30-35 PSF snow load. Two zippered roll-up doors and adjustable mesh side windows give it more ventilation and access than a basic open-frame canopy. It is a budget-tier structure, so expect a cover that needs replacing before the frame does.
