Our take on the EXLEAF 2026 New Professional Strong Quiet Motor Electric Rotary Tattoo Machine

The EXLEAF Rotary Tattoo Machine is a corded rotary pen-style unit sold as a kit, aimed at lining and shading work. It runs on 12 volts and the maker claims a 4-hour continuous run with low vibration and noise from its bearing-driven eccentric wheel. At $12.65 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is priced at the very bottom of the rotary machine market, far below the $50 to $300 that established brands like FK Irons or Cheyenne typically cost.

Questions and answers

Is the EXLEAF rotary machine worth $12.65?
At $12.65 it is a low-risk way to try rotary tattooing or practice on fake skin. Expect budget build quality; serious artists usually spend far more on a machine they rely on daily.
What comes in the box?
The package includes one rotary tattoo machine only. You need your own power supply, cord and cartridges, which are not included.
Does it need a power supply?
Yes. It is corded electric and runs at 12 volts, so it needs a compatible tattoo power supply and clip cord. There is no battery and no wireless mode.
Can it do both lining and shading?
The listing says it suits lining and shading. Stroke length is not published, so test it on practice skin to see how it handles each before using it on a client.
How does it compare with a wireless pen machine?
It is much cheaper but tethered to a power supply. Wireless pens cost far more but free up your hand and remove the cord, which many artists prefer for long sessions.
When is the price lowest?
Only one store, Walmart, lists it new at $12.65 as of November 4, 2026, so there is little price competition. Watch for marketplace sales events for any drop.
Where is the EXLEAF 2026 New Professional Strong Quiet Motor Electric Rotary Tattoo Machine cheapest?
At Walmart, for $41.91, as of our latest check.
