Our take on the Famapy Large Desk with Bookcase 98.4" Wide Computer Desk with Hutch

The Famapy Large Desk with Bookcase is a 98.4-inch-wide computer desk that combines a hutch, open shelving and three drawers in one white unit. It is aimed at people who want a single piece to cover a long wall as a workspace plus storage. The wide span means it needs a long, unobstructed wall, and assembly is a multi-person job.

Questions and answers

Is the 98.4-inch width enough for two people?
Yes. At 98.4 inches wide there is room for two chairs, two monitors and still some clear space between them. Check that your wall is at least that long plus a little clearance.
Can I fit a large monitor under the hutch?
The hutch reduces the usable height on the shelf area, so tall monitors or stacked screens may not fit. Measure the gap under the hutch before buying if you use a 32-inch or vertical monitor.
How hard is assembly?
It is a large flat-pack build with many panels, so plan for several hours and two people. Assembling it in the room where it will stand avoids moving it through doorways afterward.
Does it come with a chair or lighting?
No. The listing covers the desk, hutch, shelves and three drawers only. A chair, monitor and lamp are separate purchases.
Is white a good choice for a desk this size?
White keeps a long wall looking bright and less heavy, but it shows scuffs and dust more than wood tones. Wipe it regularly and use a mat under the chair.
