Is the FILONA mini TV worth $199?

It is a novelty and secondary screen, not a main TV. At $199 you pay for the retro design and Android apps, not picture quality.

What resolution is the screen?

640×480 on a 4-inch 4:3 LED panel at 60Hz. Standard-definition content fits it best; HD video will be downscaled.

Can it run Netflix and YouTube?

Android 11 with 2GB RAM can install streaming apps, but some services restrict playback on uncertified devices. Check app support before buying.

Does it have a battery?

No. It runs from a 9V/2A power adapter, so it stays tethered to an outlet.

What ports does it have?

One HDMI input and two USB ports, plus 2.4G and 5G WiFi for streaming.

How does it compare with a small tablet?

A tablet has a higher-resolution screen and its own battery for similar money. The FILONA's appeal is the retro TV form and HDMI input.

Our take on the FILONA 4-Inch High-Resolution Retro Mini Android TV

The FILONA is a tiny 4-inch LED television built to look like a retro set, running Android 11 on an Amlogic S905W2 quad-core chip with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The 640×480 panel is 4:3 and refreshes at 60Hz, and it connects over dual-band 2.4G/5G WiFi with USB and HDMI ports. At $199 at Amazon as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.
