Is this set safe around kids and pets?

Yes. There is no flame, no wick and no hot wax, so it can sit within reach. The LED bulbs stay cool, and the candles are unscented.

Can the candles really stay outside in the rain?

The listing says the body is waterproof resin plastic with a rubber O-ring sealing the bottom cover. That covers raindrops, but standing water and long soaking are still worth avoiding.

How does the timer work?

The included 10-key remote sets the timer, which switches the candles on and off on a repeating schedule. You set it once rather than turning each candle by hand.

What batteries does it take?

The set runs on batteries, and each candle has its own compartment under the sealed bottom cover. Check the cell size on the box before buying, since a 12-candle set goes through them quickly.

No. The set is unscented, so it gives light only, with no fragrance.

Is $87.99 a good price?

It is the best new price found, at The Home Depot as of November 7, 2026, and the only new price listed. With a single seller there is no spread to compare against, so judge it against what you would pay for 12 remote candles elsewhere.
