Our take on the Flex Seal Sealant, 8 lb, Gray, Case of 2

Flex Seal is a thick liquid rubber coating that brushes, rolls or pours on to seal leaks, stop rust and waterproof surfaces. This is a case of two 8 lb cans in gray, which suits larger jobs like roofs, foundations and gutters. At $25.19 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, the case sits well below what two cans usually cost, so it is a strong price if you need the volume.

Questions and answers

Is this the liquid or the spray?
This is the liquid rubber sealant in 8 lb cans, not the aerosol spray. It is applied with a brush, roller or by pouring.
How much area does a case cover?
Coverage depends on thickness. Two 8 lb cans go a long way on thin coats, but thick crack filling uses it fast.
Can I use it on a wet surface?
It bonds best to a clean, dry surface. Applying over standing water or damp concrete usually leads to poor adhesion.
Is $25.19 for two cans a good price?
Yes. That is $12.60 per 8 lb can, which is low for this size. Two stores list it new at that price as of November 4, 2026.
How long does it take to dry?
Thin coats skin over in a few hours, but full cure takes days. Thick pours can take much longer.
