Will this tape fix my FoodSaver if it stopped sealing?

Often yes, if the old strip is worn, torn or no longer sits flat. If the heating element or the foam gaskets are worn, the tape alone will not fix it.

Which FoodSaver models does it fit?

It fits sealers that use a 1/2-inch adhesive PTFE strip on the sealing bar. Check your model's manual or the old strip's width before ordering.

How many replacements does one roll give?

The roll is 30 feet long, so you cut strips to the length of your sealing bar. Most users get many replacements from a single roll.

Peel off the old strip and any adhesive residue, cut a new piece to length, and press the adhesive side onto the sealing bar.

Is $5.99 a good price?

It is in line with the other stores listing it as of November 7, 2026, and it is a small cost next to a new sealer. Stock up only if you plan to keep the machine for years.

Our take on the FoodSaver Replacement Sealing Tape Roll

This is a 30-foot roll of 1/2-inch PTFE sealing tape with adhesive backing, sold as a replacement part for FoodSaver vacuum sealers. The tape sits on the sealing bar and forms the barrier between the heating element and the bag, so a worn strip is a common cause of weak or failed seals. At $5.99 at Amazon as of November 7, 2026, it is a low-cost part, and the few stores that list it price it in the same small range.
