Is the Frisco 72-in cat tree stable without wall anchors?

It is tested for standalone stability, but at 72 inches tall it can sway when a cat jumps on the top level. The included wall anchors are the safer choice, especially in multi-cat homes.

How many cats fit on this tree?

Frisco lists it for all sizes and multi-cat households. The multiple levels and 9-inch condo openings let several cats spread out, though a very large cat may find the condos snug.

What is included in the box?

The tree ships with assembly tools included. Wall anchors are also provided as an optional stability add-on.

Is $96.59 a good price for this cat tree?

Only one store, Chewy.com, lists a new price at $96.59 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. For a 72-inch faux fur tower with condos, that is a typical mid-range price.

Does it come in colors other than black?

Yes. Frisco offers it in black and blue.

How much floor space does it need?

It is a free-standing tower, so it needs a footprint roughly the size of its base plus clearance to lean against a wall for anchoring. The condo openings themselves are 9 by 9 inches.
