Do I need a box spring with this bed?

What size mattress fits?

A standard king mattress. The frame is listed as King size.

Is $449.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed, at Macy's as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Compare it with other king upholstered storage beds before buying.

Can the drawers be used on either side?

The listing does not say whether the drawers are fixed or reversible. Check the assembly details before ordering if side placement matters.
