Is the Fenix 8 51mm worth it over the Fenix 7?

If you want an AMOLED screen, a speaker and mic for calls, and dive-rated water resistance, yes. The Fenix 7 still wins on battery life in some modes and costs less.

How long does the battery last?

Garmin rates the 51mm AMOLED model at up to about 29 days in smartwatch mode and roughly 13 days with always-on display. GPS use with music drops that to hours, not days.

Is the 51mm too big for a small wrist?

It is the largest Fenix size and weighs noticeably more than the 43mm and 47mm versions. Try one on if you can; many smaller-wristed buyers prefer the 47mm.

What is included in this bundle?

You get the Fenix 8 51mm watch plus a Focus Camera adjustable charging stand and a USB charging cable. The stand works with many Garmin models, not just the Fenix 8.

Does it work with iPhone and Android?

Yes. It pairs with both through the Garmin Connect app, though some reply and call features work best on Android.

When is the price lowest?

Fenix watches usually drop around Black Friday, Prime Day and when a new generation launches. At $679.95 at eBay as of November 8, 2026, it is already the lowest of the three stores listing it.
