Is the Garvee 10x10 shed big enough for a riding mower?

Probably not. The door opening is 47 inches wide and 61 inches high, which is too narrow and too low for most riding mowers. Measure your mower's width and height before buying.

How tall is the door on this shed?

The door opening is 61 inches high and 47 inches wide. Anyone over about 5 feet will need to duck when entering.

Does it need a foundation?

A level base is needed for the door to open and close properly. A concrete pad or a leveled gravel and timber frame is the usual choice for a metal shed of this size.

Is the roof strong enough for snow?

The sloped roof is designed to shed rain and snow, but the listing gives no snow-load rating. In heavy-snow areas, clear the roof after storms.

What is included in the box?

The shed ships as a flat kit with panels, frame parts and the tools needed for assembly. A foundation and any anchors are not included.

When is the best time to buy it?

Storage sheds tend to be discounted in late summer and early fall, after the peak spring buying season. Check the price history before buying.

Our take on the Garvee 10x10 FT Outdoor Storage Shed

The Garvee 10x10 FT Outdoor Storage Shed is a 100-square-foot metal storage building with a single 61-inch-high by 47-inch-wide door and a sloped roof that sheds rain and snow. It is an all-weather design meant for garden tools, lawn equipment and bikes, and it ships flat for adult assembly with tools included. The door opening is the main limit: it is about 5 feet tall and under 4 feet wide, so tall users and wide ride-on mowers will not fit through it easily.
