Is the Garvee 12V ride-on worth it?

It is a solid pick if you need parent remote control and off-road capability for a child under 8. If you want more speed, a 24V model will suit older kids better.

How fast does it go and how long does the battery last?

Top speed is 4.1 mph in the highest of three speeds. The listing does not state run time per charge, so expect roughly an hour of mixed riding based on similar 12V trucks.

What ages and sizes fit?

Garvee rates it for ages 3 to 8 with a 66 lb capacity. Younger riders should use the parent remote until they master steering and the forward/reverse switch.

Can parents control it, and does the remote override the child?

Yes. The remote works up to about 50 ft and overrides manual driving, which is the main safety feature for toddlers.

Does it work on grass and gravel?

Yes. Dual 35W motors, all-terrain tires and spring suspension are built for grass, gravel and pavement, though thick wet grass will slow it.

What comes in the box?

The car, rechargeable battery, charger and parent remote are included. Check the listing for the exact charger and assembly hardware before ordering.
