Is the Garvee 42-inch lawn sweeper worth it?

If you have a riding mower and a lot of leaves or clippings, it saves hours of raking. On small lots or wet ground, a rake or blower is cheaper and simpler.

What can tow this sweeper?

It is designed for a riding mower or ATV with a hitch pin. Check that your machine's hitch height and drawbar match the sweeper's tongue before buying.

How big is the hopper?

The bag holds 26 cubic feet, roughly several wheelbarrow loads of dry leaves. Plan to dump it more often when the leaves are damp.

Does it work on wet leaves?

Poorly. Wet, matted leaves clog the brushes and stick in the hopper, so sweep after dry weather when possible.

When is the price lowest?

Fall leaf season and spring cleanup drive demand, so late summer and winter tend to be cheaper. Only two stores list it new, so compare both before buying.
