Our take on the Garvee Kids Drift Go-Kart 24V

The Garvee Kids Drift Go-Kart is a single-seat, 24V battery-powered ride-on for kids roughly 6 to 12, with an 8 mph top speed and a 110 lb weight limit. It is built for drift-style sliding rather than trail riding, so it suits smooth pavement and driveways. The 7 Ah battery is on the small side for a 24V kart, so expect short runs between charges. At $235.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Garvee drift go-kart worth it at $235.99?
At $235.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is a low entry price for a 24V drift kart. It makes sense if your kid rides on smooth pavement and you accept short battery runs. It is a weaker buy if you need grass or hill capability.
How fast does it go and how long does the battery last?
Top speed is 8 mph on the 24V system. The battery is 7 Ah, which is small for 24V, so plan on shorter sessions than larger ride-ons; no run time is published.
What age and weight is it for?
Garvee lists ages 6 to 12 and a 110 lb maximum load. A single rider only.
Can it drive on grass or gravel?
No. The low chassis and drift-oriented wheels are meant for smooth, flat pavement like driveways and lots. Grass, gravel and slopes will bog it down.
Is it cheaper at other stores?
As of November 3, 2026, Walmart is the only store listing it new at $235.99. Check back for other listings before buying.
Where is the Garvee Kids Drift Go-Kart 24V cheapest?
At Walmart, for $235.99, as of our latest check.
