Does it include a mattress?

No. It is a frame only, so you buy a queen mattress separately. The slats mean you do not need a box spring.

Do the drawers fit under the bed on either side?

The two drawers sit under the frame and pull out from the foot or side. Leave open floor space in front of them so they can slide out fully.

How is the LED light powered?

The headboard lights run on electricity, so you need an outlet or a cord routed to the headboard. Plan the bed's position around that.

Is $255.98 a good price for this bed?

It is the only new price listed, $255.98 at Lowe's as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare against. Compare it with other queen upholstered storage beds before deciding.

What size mattress does it take?

A standard queen mattress. The frame is queen size, so queen sheets and bedding fit.

Can I use it without the drawers?

Yes. The drawers are part of the frame, but you can leave them empty or use them for off-season bedding.
