Is the Gator Transit Series a hard case or a gig bag?

It is a gig bag with a rigid internal frame, so it sits between a soft bag and a hard case. It offers case-like structure but is not a molded hard case.

Will it fit my electric guitar?

It is sized for standard electric guitars, with 40 in internal length, 15 in lower bout width and 2.5 in body depth. Measure your guitar against those figures, since fit varies by body shape.

Gator rates it weather resistant, not waterproof. The blended fabric, reinforced edges and rubber-tread base handle rain and wear, but it should not be submerged or left out in heavy rain.

What comes in the box?

The bag includes removable, color-matched backpack straps and the removable three-point interior support system for headstock, neck and endpin.
