Questions and answers

Is the Gawfolk 34-inch ultrawide worth it?
Only if the price is well below name-brand 34-inch ultrawides and you accept the risk. Its 2.7-out-of-5 rating from 47 buyers points to frequent quality complaints. Buy from a store with easy returns.
Is 165 Hz and 5 ms good for gaming?
165 Hz is fast enough for smooth motion in most games. The 5 ms response time and VA panel can smear in fast dark scenes, so it suits casual and single-player play better than competitive shooters.
Does it work with a laptop or console?
It has HDMI and DisplayPort, so most laptops and consoles connect. Check that your device outputs 3440x1440 at high refresh over its port; some HDMI versions cap the refresh rate.
What resolution is it?
It is UWQHD, 3440x1440, on a 34-inch curved VA panel. That is the standard ultrawide resolution and roughly 25 percent more pixels than a 27-inch 1440p screen.
What is in the box?
Expect the monitor, a stand and the usual cables, but confirm the cable list with the seller. Some budget monitors ship without a DisplayPort cable.
When is it cheapest?
Budget monitors like this usually drop during Black Friday, Prime Day and back-to-school sales. Set a price alert and compare against name-brand 34-inch ultrawides before buying.
What do buyers say about the Gawfolk 34-Inch Curved Ultrawide UWQHD Gaming Monitor?
