Is the Geevon thermometer worth it?

At $22.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get indoor and outdoor temperature plus humidity on one color display. It suits basic home use rather than precise or professional measurement.

Geevon states temperature accuracy of ±1.8°F. That is fine for deciding how to dress or whether to cover plants, but not for calibration work.

What is the wireless range?

The listing does not state a wireless range for the sensor. The 50 m figure in the specs refers to cable length, not wireless reach.

Does it show humidity too?

Yes. It is a thermohygrometer, reading humidity from 20% to 95% alongside temperature.

What comes in the box?

You get the color display base station and one wireless remote sensor. Check the listing for battery requirements, since they are not specified.

Only one store, Walmart, currently lists it new at $22.99, so there is no competing price to wait for. Watch for seasonal markdowns rather than store-to-store differences.
