Is the PX-MOD-3 worth it over cheaper RGB panels?

It makes sense if you want three matched pixel panels with app control and a case in one purchase. If you only need flat RGB fill, single panels or a simpler RGB tube light cost less.

Do I need to buy batteries?

Yes. The kit accepts Sony NP-F batteries but does not include them, so budget for at least one battery per panel or plan to run on AC.

Can I control all three panels at once?

Yes. The Genaray RGB Mobile App controls the panels over Bluetooth, so you can group them and sync colors and effects from a phone or tablet.

What comes in the box?

Three PX-MOD-3 panels, each with a yoke and four-way barndoors, plus a carry case. Batteries and an AC adapter setup should be confirmed before ordering.

How bright are these panels?

They are accent and fill lights, not key lights for large scenes. Expect them to work best close to the subject or as background color.

When is the price lowest?

Lighting kits like this tend to dip during holiday sales and around major trade shows. Check the price history before buying if you are not in a hurry.
