Is the Gildan G18500 worth it?

Yes if you want a warm, cheap hoodie or a blank to print on. At $13.00 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it costs less than most branded hoodies and the 8 oz fleece is heavier than typical budget options.

How does it fit compared to a regular hoodie?

It is a classic unisex cut, so it runs boxy and slightly large. Size down for a closer fit, or keep your usual size for layering over a shirt.

Will it shrink in the wash?

The 50/50 blend shrinks less than all cotton, but hot water and a hot dryer will still take it in. Wash cold and tumble low to keep the size.

Is it good for printing or embroidery?

Yes. It is a common blank for screen printing and embroidery because the flat 50/50 fleece takes ink and stitches well. Avoid heat-sensitive vinyl on the polyester side.

Multi-packs and bulk listings usually bring the per-hoodie price down. The $13.00 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026 is already near the bottom of its recent range.
