Questions and answers

Is the Glarry acoustic bass good for a beginner?
Yes. The 30-inch scale and light body make it easy to hold, and the price keeps the risk low. Budget for a setup and new strings to get the best action.
Can I plug it into an amp or PA?
Yes. It has an onboard preamp with a 4-band equalizer, so it works through a bass amp, acoustic amp or PA. Unplugged volume is modest because of the basswood body.
What is the scale length and nut width?
It has a 30-inch scale and a 1.65-inch nut, which is shorter and narrower than a standard 34-inch electric bass. That suits smaller hands and players moving from guitar.
What comes in the box?
Expect the bass itself; most Glarry listings do not include a case, gig bag, cable or strap. Check the listing contents before ordering if you need those.
Is $96.99 a good price?
It is the only new price we track, at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, and it sits at the low end for acoustic-electric basses. There is no broad price history to compare against, so treat it as a budget baseline rather than a discount.
Where is the Glarry Acoustic Electric Bass Guitar Full Size 4 String with 4-Band Equalizer cheapest?
At Walmart, for $96.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Glarry Acoustic Electric Bass Guitar Full Size 4 String with 4-Band Equalizer?
Rated 4.7 out of 5 from 224 ratings.
