Questions and answers

Is this cat tree stable enough for a large cat?

The 34.2-inch-wide base and 45 lb weight help, but an 83-inch tower still benefits from being placed against a wall. Check that the base sits flat and the top levels are tightened after assembly.

How much floor space does it take up?

The footprint is about 17.7 by 34.2 inches. Leave extra room around it so cats can jump on and off, and check ceiling height before placing it.

Is $90.99 a good price for this cat tree?

At $90.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is inexpensive for an 83-inch, seven-level tree. Comparable tall trees from major brands usually cost more.

How long does assembly take?

Expect a project: seven levels, multiple posts and platforms, and roughly 45 lb of parts. Set aside an hour or more and assemble it where it will stand.

Does it work for kittens and senior cats?

It is rated for all life stages, but the height is a lot for a small kitten or an older cat. Add a low platform or ramp if your cat should not jump far.

What is included in the box?

The listing covers the tree itself with its posts, platforms and beige fabric covering. Check the box for the tools and hardware needed before you start.
