Questions and answers

Is the Yaheetech 42-in Cat Tree worth it?
For the price, yes. It gives cats scratching posts, perches and a condo for under $40, which is rare at this size. Expect lighter materials than premium trees.
Is it big enough for a large cat?
Probably not. The perches and condo are sized for small to medium cats, and heavy cats make the tower wobble. Large breeds do better on a taller, heavier tree.
How tall is it and where does it fit?
It stands 42 inches tall, so it fits under most windows and in corners of small rooms. It is freestanding and does not need wall mounting.
Does it come with scratching posts?
Yes. The posts are wrapped in sisal, which is the surface cats scratch most. Reviewers say cats use them instead of furniture.
When is the best time to buy it?
At $37.99 at Chewy.com as of November 5, 2026, it is at the low end of its recent range. Waiting is unlikely to save much.
How hard is assembly?
It takes some time and the instructions are basic, but one person can assemble it with the included hardware. No drilling or wall mounting is required.
Where is the Yaheetech 42-in Cat Tree cheapest?
At Chewy.com, for $37.99, as of our latest check.
