Questions and answers

Is the Godinger Inventure set worth it?
At $38.71 for 16 pieces, it works out to about $2.40 per piece, which is low for porcelain with mugs. It suits everyday family use; buyers who want heavy, thick plates should look at stoneware instead.
How big are the bowls and mugs?
The cereal bowls hold 10 oz and the mugs 8 oz. The bowls are on the small side, fine for dessert or a light breakfast but tight for a full bowl of cereal.
Can it go in the dishwasher and microwave?
Yes. Both the plates and the mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe, so leftovers can be reheated on the plate.
How does it compare with the previous Inventure version?
The current set is a 16-piece service for four with ribbed edging. Check the piece count and bowl capacity if you are matching an older set, since sizes have varied between releases.
Is $38.71 a good price?
It is the lowest new price among the four stores listing the set as of November 3, 2026, and sits at the low end of its recent range. Waiting is unlikely to save much.
What is in the box?
Four dinner plates, four salad plates, four 10 oz cereal bowls and four 8 oz mugs. No serving platter or extra bowl is included.
