Questions and answers

Is the Gouun 3-drawer chest worth $86.99?

At $86.99 at Macy's as of November 5, 2026, it is a low-cost way to add three drawers, including one deep drawer, to a small room. Whether it is worth it depends on how much weight the drawers need to hold, since no load rating is stated.

How big is the extra deep drawer?

The listing confirms one extra deep drawer but gives no dimensions. Measure your space and check the drawer depth before buying if you plan to store bulky items like linens or sweaters.

Do the drawers really slide quietly?

The chest uses quiet slide rail guides, which are designed to reduce the rattle and clatter of metal-on-metal drawer slides. Quiet rails are common on budget chests and usually hold up well with light to medium loads.

Does it need assembly?

Assembly details are not confirmed in the listing. Budget drawer chests in this price range typically ship flat and need some assembly, so plan for basic tools and a second person.

Is it cheaper anywhere else?

Macy's is the only store pricing it new at $86.99 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no lower new price to compare. Watch for seasonal sales at Macy's if you are not in a hurry.
