Our take on the Gouun Vintage-Inspired 59-Inch Turquoise TV Cabinet with Transparent Doors

The Gouun is a 59-inch engineered-wood TV stand in turquoise with transparent doors and an open shelf, rated for TVs up to 65 inches. The transparent doors keep components visible while hiding clutter, and the vintage-style finish makes it a statement piece rather than neutral furniture. At $189.99 at Macy's as of November 3, it is the only new price tracked, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Will a 65-inch TV fit on this cabinet?: Yes. Gouun rates it for screens up to 65 inches. A 65-inch TV is about 57 inches wide, so it fits the 59-inch top with little margin on each side.
Is it solid wood?: No. It is engineered wood, likely particle board or MDF with a turquoise finish. Expect a lighter, less durable build than solid wood at this price.
What is behind the transparent doors?: The transparent doors cover cabinet storage, and the unit also has open shelving. The clear panels let you see and use media components without opening the doors.
Is $189.99 a good price?: Only one store, Macy's, lists it new at $189.99 as of November 3, so there is no recent price range to compare. For a 59-inch cabinet rated to 65 inches, that is a typical budget-furniture price.
Does it come assembled?: No. Flat-pack furniture at this price ships unassembled. Plan on assembly time and a second person to help lift the panels.
