Is the Govee Neon Rope Light 2 worth it?

It is worth it if you want a bright, shapeable neon-style accent with app scenes and voice control. If you need general room lighting, a plain LED strip or lamp costs less.

How is it different from the first Neon Rope Light?

The second generation adds more LEDs and improved RGBIC segment control, so colors blend more smoothly and effects look denser. Both are app-controlled and voice-compatible.

Does it need a hub or just Wi-Fi?

No hub is needed. It connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and works with the Govee app, Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri.

Can I cut or extend it?

No. The rope is a fixed length and is not designed to be cut or extended, so plan the layout before mounting.

You get the rope light, a power adapter and mounting clips. Check the listing for the exact length and clip count before buying.
