Is $199.99 a good price for the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2?

It is the best new price among the three stores listing it as of November 7, 2026. Govee runs frequent sales, so watch for drops around holidays.

How long is the run and can it be extended?

This set is 100 ft. Govee sells extension lengths, but check that the total stays within the power supply's rated capacity.

Do I need an outdoor outlet?

Yes. The lights are corded, so you need a nearby outdoor outlet and a route for the power cable.

Can I control them with Alexa or Google Home?

Yes, Govee's app supports voice assistants, and you can set schedules and scenes through the app.

Will the adhesive hold through winter?

Many owners report it holds, but results vary by surface and climate. Screw-in clips are the more secure option on rough or painted surfaces.

How many lights and scenes are included?

The set uses RGBIC segments with dozens of preset scene modes, enough to cover holidays and everyday looks.
