Is the Govee RGBIC LED Strip 2x20m worth it?

If you need a long run with multicolor zones, 40 m for $89.99 at Lowe's as of November 7, 2026 is a reasonable package. Budget for mounting clips or aluminum channel, since the tape alone often fails overhead.

How long is the strip in total?

Two reels of 20 m each, 40 m total. That is enough for a large room perimeter or several ceiling runs.

Does it work with Alexa and Google Assistant?

Yes. It connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and supports both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for on/off, color and brightness.

Do I need a hub or bridge?

No hub is needed. The strip connects directly to your Wi-Fi network and is set up through the Govee app.

Yes, at marked cut points, but cut sections need separate power and connectors. Plan the layout before cutting.

Only one new price is listed, $89.99 at Lowe's as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent low to compare. Govee strips typically drop during major sale events.
