Is the $20.00 eBay price for a full kit?

A complete Pro kit normally costs much more, so a $20.00 listing at eBay as of November 7, 2026 is likely a partial set, extension or single component. Confirm the length and what's included before buying.

Does it need a professional installer?

No, but it is hardwired, so you need an outdoor power source where you mount it. Many owners install it themselves with clips and adhesive; ladder work on a roofline is the main effort.

Does it work with Alexa and Google Assistant?

Yes. It supports both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for on/off, brightness and scenes, alongside the Govee app.

Can it stay up all year?

That is the point of the Pro line: it is built for permanent outdoor mounting and runs everyday warm white as well as color scenes.

Govee kits tend to drop around holiday sales and major shopping events. Track the price history here rather than buying at list.

Our take on the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro H706

The Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro H706 is a hardwired LED light string meant to stay mounted on eaves or soffits year-round, with app control plus Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice support. It does twinkle animation and warm white tones alongside color effects. The best new price is $20.00 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, far below what a full-length Pro kit usually costs, so check that listing's length and completeness before buying.

Works with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa
Warm white tone suits everyday exterior lighting, not just holidays

Cons

Hardwired install needs outdoor power at the mounting point
Adhesive and clip mounting on some surfaces can loosen over time
