Our take on the Govvep LED Floor Lamp with Flexible Gooseneck and Touch Sensor with Remote Control

The Govvep is a 70.9-inch black metal floor lamp with a flexible gooseneck head, 1800 lumens of LED output and adjustable color temperature from 3000K warm white to 6500K daylight. It dims by touch panel or remote and assembles without tools. At 18W it draws little power for its brightness, and the 12-pound metal base keeps it steady. No current price was provided, so compare store prices before buying.

Questions and answers

Is the Govvep floor lamp worth it?
It offers 1800 lumens, 3000K-6500K tuning and both touch and remote dimming at 18W, which is a lot of flexibility for one lamp. Check the current price against simpler dimmable floor lamps before deciding.
How bright is it, and can I dim it low?
It puts out up to 1800 lumens at 18W. The touch panel and remote dim it down for evening or nursery use, though the lowest setting is not a nightlight-level glow.
Does it work with Alexa or Google Home?
No. Control is through the touch panel and the included remote only. There is no app, Wi-Fi or smart-home integration.
How tall is it and how much floor space does it take?
It stands 70.87 inches tall with a base about 9 by 11 inches. The gooseneck lets you angle the head, so keep some clearance around it.
What is in the box and is assembly hard?
You get the lamp, base, remote and hardware. Setup is tool-free and takes a few minutes; the 12-pound base is the heaviest part.
When is the price lowest?
Floor lamps like this tend to drop during Black Friday, holiday sales and back-to-school events. Track the price history and buy when it sits below its recent range.
