Our take on the Wade Logan Banty 63.8'' Arched/Arc Floor Lamp

The Wade Logan Banty is a 63.8-inch arched floor lamp with a black metal body and a 100% linen shade. Its curved arc design leans the light over a sofa or reading chair without taking up floor space near the seat. At $52.99 at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026, it sits a few dollars above its recent low of $44.99 on November 1 and below the $56.99 high on October 30.

Best forRenters who want a statement lamp without wiringReading nooks and sofa cornersSmall living rooms where a side table won't fitBuyers furnishing on a tight budget
Pros
  • Arched design puts light over a seat, not beside it
  • Linen shade gives softer, warmer light than bare metal
  • Slim 21.5-inch width and 12-inch depth fit tight corners
  • Black metal finish suits most decor
  • Low price for a full-height floor lamp
Cons
  • 63.8 inches is short for a true overhead arc; tall users may look down into the shade
  • Arc lamps can tip if bumped, and the base is the only counterweight
  • Linen shade is not washable; dust only
  • One bulb, so light output depends on the bulb you buy
  • Only one store prices it new, so comparison shopping is limited

Questions and answers

Is the Banty floor lamp worth it?
At $52.99 it is a low-cost way to add an arched lamp to a room. Expect a lightweight build rather than a heavy designer piece.
How tall is it, and will it clear a sofa?
It stands 63.8 inches tall with a 21.5-inch width and 12-inch depth. That arcs light over a low sofa or chair but sits below eye level for most standing adults.
What bulb does it take?
It uses a single standard bulb in a typical socket; the bulb is not included. A warm LED bulb suits the linen shade best.
Does it come in other finishes?
Yes. A gold base finish and other finish options are offered alongside the black version.
When is the price lowest?
The lowest recent daily price was $44.99 on November 1, 2026, against $56.99 on October 30. Watch for drops back toward the mid-$40s before buying.
Is it good for a bedroom or nursery?
The linen shade softens the light, which suits a bedroom corner. It is not a task light, and the arc makes it a poor fit for tight walkways.
Where is the Wade Logan Banty 63.8'' Arched/Arc Floor Lamp cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $52.99, 54% off, as of our latest check.
Is the Wade Logan Banty 63.8'' Arched/Arc Floor Lamp at its lowest price?
The lowest price we've seen is $44.99 at Wayfair on November 1, against $52.99 now.
