Is this rug soft enough for a living room?

No. Jute is a coarse natural fiber, so it feels rough underfoot. It suits hallways and layered looks better than a barefoot lounging spot.

Can it be used on hardwood floors?

Yes, but add a rug pad. Jute can scratch finished floors, and a pad also stops slipping and adds a little cushioning.

How do I clean the Isalena rug?

Vacuum without a beater bar and spot clean with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash or soak it; moisture can stain or warp the jute.

Expect some loose fibers at first. Vacuum gently and shedding should ease with use.

Is $132.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed, $132.99 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026. There is no recent range to compare it against, so check the size before deciding.

Does it come in more than one size?

The Isalena line is sold in several sizes. Check the size on the listing, since the $132.99 price is for one specific size.
