Is a 1080p 40-inch TV sharp enough?

Yes for most viewing. At roughly 5 to 7 feet away, 1080p on a 40-inch screen looks clean; 4K mainly helps on larger screens or closer seating.

Does it have Google TV or Android TV?

It is listed as a Google TV set with Google Assistant, so you get the Google TV home screen, voice search and app support for major streaming services.

How many devices can I plug in?

Two HDMI ports and USB. That fits a streaming stick, a console and a soundbar only if you use HDMI switching or optical audio.

Is HDR worth having on this TV?

Marginally. Budget LED panels lack the brightness for real HDR impact, so expect a modest improvement at best over standard dynamic range.

Should I buy this or a name-brand 40-inch TV?

Compare the price first. Major brands at this size often cost about the same and bring better warranty support and picture processing, so this set only makes sense if it is clearly cheaper.

Small TVs typically drop during Black Friday, back-to-school and Super Bowl sales. Check the price history before buying.
