Our take on the Greenworks 80V 800 CFM Cordless Battery Leaf Blower with 4Ah Battery and Charger

The Greenworks 80V 800 CFM is a handheld cordless leaf blower sold as a kit with a 4Ah battery and charger. Its 800 CFM rating puts it among the strongest battery handhelds, and the 80V platform is shared with Greenworks mowers, trimmers and chainsaws. It is built for moving wet leaves and heavy debris without a cord, at the cost of weight and short run time on the included 4Ah pack.

Questions and answers

Is 800 CFM enough for wet leaves?
Yes. 800 CFM is near the top of cordless handhelds and moves wet, matted leaves that weaker blowers leave behind. Expect to work at high speed, which drains the battery faster.
How long does the 4Ah battery last?
Roughly 15 to 25 minutes at full speed and longer at lower settings. Buy a second 80V battery if you have a large yard or a long fall cleanup.
Is it worth it over a gas blower?
It matches mid-range gas blowers on airflow without fuel or pull starts. Gas still wins on run time for all-day commercial use.
Does the battery fit other Greenworks tools?
Yes. The 80V battery works across the Greenworks 80V line, including mowers, trimmers and chainsaws. That shared platform is the main reason to pick this kit.
What is in the box?
The blower, one 4Ah 80V battery and a charger. No nozzle accessories beyond what is fitted on the unit.
When is it cheapest?
Leaf blowers typically drop in late summer and around Black Friday. Watch the price history for dips below the usual kit price.
