Is the Grundig KM 7340 worth it at $77.86?

At $77.86 at Tiny Lux as of November 7, 2026, it is a fair price for a 10-cup machine with a timer, permanent filter and auto shutoff. If you want a thermal carafe or a built-in grinder, look elsewhere.

Does it come with a paper filter?

No. It uses a permanent filter, so you do not need to buy paper filters. You can still line it with paper if you prefer a cleaner cup.

Can I set it to brew in the morning?

Yes. It has a programmable timer and display, so you can load coffee and water the night before and set the brew time.

How many cups does it make?

It brews up to 10 cups, with a 1.25 L glass carafe. The cup count assumes small cups, so expect fewer large mugs.

Does it shut off by itself?

Yes. It has automatic shutdown after brewing, plus a drip stop so you can pour a cup before the cycle ends.

Is there a cheaper alternative?

Only one store prices it new, so check other 10-cup drip makers with timers before buying. Basic models without a timer often cost less.
