Is the Gymax sawhorse worth it?

For $59.99 you get two steel sawhorses rated at 1,322 lbs each, which is more capacity than most DIY jobs need. If you want a fixed-height, foldable pair for cutting and supporting lumber, it is a reasonable buy.

Can I use these as a workbench?

Yes. The 2x4 support arms let you lay boards across both sawhorses to form a temporary bench. The surface height is fixed at about 29 inches, so plan for that working height.

How much weight does each sawhorse hold?

Gymax rates each sawhorse at 1,322 lbs. That is a static rating, so keep loads evenly spread and avoid dropping heavy material onto the top.

How small do they fold?

Each sawhorse folds to roughly 32.5 x 5 x 4 inches. The pair weighs about 16 lbs total, so it stores on a shelf or in a truck bed without much space.

Is the height adjustable?

No. The legs are fixed, giving a working height of about 29 inches. If you need taller or shorter support, this model is not the right fit.

What comes in the box?

The package includes two sawhorses and one instruction sheet. They unfold and are ready to use, with no assembly of the legs required.
