Our take on the HANDBODE Hex Dumbbell Set of 2 Rubber Encased Fixed Dumbbells

A pair of 15 lb hex dumbbells with solid cast iron heads encased in virgin rubber and chrome-plated handles. The hex shape keeps them from rolling and the rubber coating protects floors. At $58.89 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, this is the only new price listed for the pair, so there is no lower recent price to compare against.

Pros
  • Hex heads stay put on the floor between sets
  • Rubber encasing protects hardwood and tile
  • Cast iron core holds up to drops better than plastic-filled weights
  • Chrome handles resist rust and wipe clean
  • 15 lb is a useful step between 10 and 20 lb pairs
Cons
  • 34 mm handles are thick for smaller hands
  • Rubber can carry a factory smell at first
  • Chrome gets slick with sweaty palms without chalk or a towel
  • Only one new price listed, so no discount to judge against

Questions and answers

Is the 15 lb pair sold as two dumbbells?
Yes. The listing is a pair, so you get two 15 lb dumbbells, about 30 lb total.
Will the rubber mark my floors?
Rubber-encased hex heads are the usual choice for wood and tile floors. Wipe them down before first use and avoid dragging them.
How thick are the handles?
The handles are 34 mm in diameter, thicker than many standard dumbbells. That suits larger hands but can feel bulky for smaller grips.
Is $58.89 a good price for the pair?
It is the only new price listed as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent low to compare. At roughly $29 per dumbbell it sits in line with other rubber hex pairs of this weight.
Can I use these for heavy pressing?
They are fine for light to moderate work, but 15 lb will be too light for most pressing once you train regularly. Plan to add heavier pairs.
Where is the HANDBODE Hex Dumbbell Set of 2 Rubber Encased Fixed Dumbbells cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $86.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the HANDBODE Hex Dumbbell Set of 2 Rubber Encased Fixed Dumbbells?
4 stores we checked sell it, including Wayfair, Lowe's, Amazon, Walmart.
