Our take on the Haxvin 59.1" Loveseat Futon Sofa Bed with Adjustable Backrest

The Haxvin is a 59.1-inch fabric loveseat that folds flat into a foam sleeper, with a backrest that adjusts through several positions. The metal frame keeps it light enough to move between rooms, and the off-white upholstery suits small apartments, guest rooms and studios. At 59 inches long, it seats two and sleeps one adult comfortably, less so two. It is a budget-tier import brand, so expect basic foam density and fabric that needs care with stains.

Pros
  • Backrest adjusts to several recline positions for sitting or lounging
  • Folds flat into a foam sleeper without removing cushions
  • Metal frame is lighter than a wood-frame sofa of the same size
  • 59-inch length fits through narrow doors and small rooms
  • Off-white fabric brightens tight spaces
Cons
  • Foam is thin, so the bed is fine for a night or two, not every night
  • Off-white fabric shows stains and is not easy to spot-clean
  • Seats two adults snugly; the sleeper suits one
  • Little published long-term durability data for this brand

Questions and answers

Is the Haxvin futon good for sleeping every night?
No. The foam mattress is thin and meant for occasional guests. For nightly sleeping, a dedicated mattress or a sleeper with a thicker foam or innerspring core holds up better.
How many people does it seat and sleep?
It seats two adults, though snugly at 59 inches wide. Folded flat it sleeps one adult comfortably; two adults will feel cramped.
Does the backrest lock in place?
The backrest adjusts through several positions, from upright for sitting to flat for sleeping. Check that the hinge clicks into each notch before putting weight on it.
How do I clean the off-white fabric?
Vacuum it regularly and blot spills right away with a mild detergent and water. The cover is not described as removable or machine washable, so deep stains are best handled by a professional upholstery cleaner.
What is the weight limit?
Haxvin does not publish a clear weight rating for this model. The metal frame handles normal adult use, but treat it as light-duty furniture rather than a heavy-use couch.
When is the price likely to be lowest?
Small import furniture brands like this tend to discount during major sales events and at end of season. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
