Questions and answers

Is the Hellafar golf speaker worth $49.99?
At $49.99 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a magnetic, waterproof cart speaker. Comparable magnet-mount golf speakers often cost more, but this one has very few reviews, so treat it as a budget pick.
How does it attach to a golf cart?
A neodymium magnet is built into the speaker body. It snaps onto steel cart frames and rails; check that your cart has a steel surface, since plastic or aluminum panels will not hold it.
How long does the battery last?
The listing gives a charge time of about three hours over USB-C but does not state playback time. Expect a full round or two from a speaker this size, and charge it after each use until real figures are published.
Can it get wet?
Yes. It carries an IPX7 rating, which means it survives being submerged in about three feet of water for a short time. Rain and splashes on the course are fine; do not leave it sitting in a puddle.
What comes in the box?
The speaker and a USB-C charging cable. No wall adapter is listed, so use your own USB charger.
When is it cheapest?
Golf gear tends to drop around spring and holiday sales. Track the price history here and buy when it falls below the current $49.99.
