Is $29.99 a good price for this speaker?

It is the best new price among the 3 stores listing it as of November 5, 2026, at Cyberguys. Small magnetic outdoor speakers commonly sell in the $25 to $50 range, so this is near the bottom.

Will the magnet hold on a golf cart?

Only on steel or other ferrous metal. Many cart frames, roofs and dash panels are aluminum or plastic, so check your cart's surfaces before relying on the magnet alone.

Loud enough for a cart, a shower or a small patio, but not for a party. It is a single mono driver, so expect clear midrange rather than deep bass.

Can I pair two of these for stereo?

Yes. TWS pairing links two Travel Depot speakers into a left and right pair. You need two units, and only one connects to your phone.

Is it really waterproof?

It carries an IP66 rating, which means protection from dust and strong water jets. It is not rated for being submerged, so don't leave it sitting in pooled water.

What comes in the box?

The speaker and a power cable for charging. No mount is needed because of the magnet, and no carry case is listed.

Our take on the Bluetooth Speaker with Cart Magnet

This is a small 8W Bluetooth speaker built to stick to metal, with a magnetic base aimed at golf carts, grills and other steel surfaces. It pairs with a second Travel Depot speaker for stereo, carries an IP66 water and dust rating and claims 18 hours of playtime over Bluetooth 5.3. It is mono, passive and runs on an internal cell, so it is a convenience speaker rather than a room-filling one. At $29.99 at Cyberguys as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of what small magnetic outdoor speakers cost.
