Our take on the Henkelman Marlin 52 Vacuum Packaging Machine

The Henkelman Marlin 52 is a floor-standing, stainless steel chamber vacuum sealer with two removable 20.5-inch double wire seal bars, one on each side. Its 2,780 cf/h pump and 15-40 second adjustable cycle suit high-volume kitchens that seal large or multiple bags per cycle. It runs on 220V, so it needs a dedicated circuit in a US kitchen. The best new price is $12,158.96 at Chef's Deal as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition to shop around.

Questions and answers

Is the Marlin 52 worth it over a smaller chamber sealer?
If you seal large bags or need two seals per cycle at volume, the wide double bars and 2,780 cf/h pump justify the step up. For low-volume or home use, a smaller 120V chamber sealer costs far less and does the job.
Can I plug it into a normal US outlet?
No. It is a 220V machine, so you need a 220V circuit, typically installed by an electrician. A standard 120V kitchen outlet will not run it.
What bags fit the 20.5-inch seal bars?
Bags up to about 20 inches wide fit the seal bars, and the chamber depth limits bag length. Check the chamber dimensions against the bag sizes you plan to use before ordering.
How does it compare with the Henkelman Boxer or Jumbo?
The Marlin 52 is a mid-size floor model with two 20.5-inch seal bars. The Boxer and Jumbo lines are larger chamber machines with bigger pumps and higher output for heavier production.
What comes in the box?
The machine ships as a floor model with its two removable double wire seal bars. Confirm with the seller whether a power cord, pump oil or starter bags are included, since listings vary.
When is the price lowest?
Only one store lists it new at $12,158.96 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no competing price to wait for. Ask the seller about freight and installation costs, which often exceed any discount.
