Is the Herman Miller X Logitech G Embody worth it?

If you sit for many hours a day and want adjustable back support backed by a 12-year warranty, it is one of the strongest options. If you sit a few hours a week, a cheaper ergonomic chair will do most of the job.

How is it different from the standard Embody?

The Logitech G version adds a copper-infused, cooling back layer and a sync fabric, plus styling cues. The core frame, BackFit and PostureFit SL support are shared with the standard Embody.

What are the seat height and size limits?

Seat height runs from 16 to 20½ inches and seat depth from 15 to 18 inches. The chair is 29½ inches wide and 29 inches deep, and it supports up to 300 lbs.

Does it come assembled, and what is in the box?

It ships fully assembled, so the box holds the chair and little else. You roll it out and adjust it; no tools are needed.

Does it have a headrest?

No. The Embody has no headrest, and Herman Miller does not sell one for this model. Look elsewhere if you want neck support for reclining.

Herman Miller and Logitech G run periodic sales, often around major shopping events. Its latest best price is near the top of its recent range, so waiting for a promotion is reasonable.

Our take on the Herman Miller X Logitech G Embody

The Herman Miller X Logitech G Embody is a premium ergonomic gaming chair built on Herman Miller's Embody platform, with Logitech G input on the back and upholstery. It stands out for its PostureFit SL and BackFit back support, a 300 lb weight capacity, braking casters, and a 12-year warranty, and it ships fully assembled. Its seat height adjusts from 16 to 20½ inches and seat depth from 15 to 18 inches, so it fits a wide range of bodies. It is an expensive chair, and its latest best price sits near the top of its recent range rather than at a low.
