Is the AG 6D-22 worth it over a corded grinder?

If you already own Nuron batteries, the cordless freedom is the main draw. A corded 6-inch grinder costs far less and spins faster, so buy this for portability, not raw power.

What comes in the box?

The tool only. No battery, charger or disc is included, so budget for a Nuron B 22 battery and charger if you don't own them.

Does it take standard 6-inch discs?

Yes. It uses 6-inch (150 mm) discs with the standard arbor, and the spindle lock makes changes quick. Check each disc's max rpm rating is at least 8,500.

How does it compare to the AG 4S-22?

The AG 4S-22 is a smaller 4.5-inch grinder that is lighter and cheaper. The 6D-22 gives deeper cuts and longer disc life but weighs more and costs more.

When is the price lowest?

Hilti pricing is fairly fixed, so discounts mostly come from bundle deals or promotions. The best new price was $359.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026.
