Is the Hisense U6 Pro worth it at $549.99?

At $549.99 at Best Buy as of November 5, 2026, it is a strong value for a 55-inch MiniLED QLED set. You get contrast and brightness usually found on pricier TVs, plus Fire TV built in.

How does it compare with the regular U6 series?

The Pro adds MiniLED backlighting and a glare-free screen over the standard U6 line. That means deeper blacks and better performance in bright rooms.

Does it run Google TV or Fire TV?

It runs Amazon's Fire TV platform with Alexa+ built in. That favors Prime Video and Alexa users, but the home screen leans heavily on Amazon content.

Can I use it for gaming?

It has four HDMI ports and 4K resolution, which covers consoles and a soundbar. The listing does not confirm HDMI 2.1 or 120Hz, so check before buying for high-frame-rate play.

What comes in the box?

You get the TV, a stand and a remote. Mounting hardware and cables are not included, so plan for a VESA mount if you wall-mount it.

TV prices drop around Black Friday and the Super Bowl. At $549.99 as of November 5, 2026, it is already near the bottom of its recent range.
