Our take on the Holbrook Aero T 14mm Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle

The Holbrook Aero T is a carbon fiber pickleball paddle with a 14mm core, built for players who want a fast, controlled swing. Its measured balance point of 9.44 in and low swing weight of 853 oz/sq in put it in the head-light, quick-handling class. Exit velocity of 34.17 MPH is moderate, so it leans toward control and placement over raw power. At $69.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of what carbon-faced paddles typically cost.

Questions and answers

Is the Holbrook Aero T good for beginners?
It can work for beginners with some racket-sport background, but its control-first build suits players who already have their strokes. True beginners may want more power and a thicker core.
How does the 14mm core compare to 16mm paddles?
A 14mm core is thinner and lighter, so it swings faster and feels firmer. 16mm paddles offer more power and a softer feel but less hand speed.
Is $69.99 a good price for this paddle?
Yes. Carbon-faced paddles commonly sell for $100 and up, so $69.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026 is at the low end. Only two stores list it new, so compare before buying.
What is the swing weight of this paddle?
Holbrook lists a swing weight of 853.32 oz/sq in, which is light and quick through the air. That favors net play over driving power.
Does it come with a cover?
Check the listing for what is included. Holbrook paddles are typically sold with a basic cover, but confirm before ordering.
